As we shift into the colder, darker months of the year, cozy gatherings feel like good soul medicine. Winter is a time for community, for warm cups of tea, and visiting with friends and neighbours. So, we welcome you to join us in our yurt in the woods for a monthly crafting circle; an opportunity to work on craft projects in good company! Bring your knitting, mending, or any craft to work on, or choose to tinker with whatever seasonal craft we have on offer each month.

Where:

Mossy Hollow Homestead in Seeley’s Bay. Please note that there is a short but steep walk to reach the yurt, and the bathroom is an outhouse.

When:

November 16th, December 14th, January 11th, and February 15th, from 1-3pm.

What to expect:

  • A cozy atmosphere with a warm fire and herbal tea

  • A large table to work at

  • Comfy couch/chairs/cushions

  • A simple, seasonal craft + materials on offer

How to join:

This is a drop in gathering, just send us an email in advance to let us know you’ll be stopping by, so we make sure we have enough space/seating for all. We can welcome a maximum of 10 folks each month. Directions to the yurt will be sent via email to each participant.

Cost:

This offering is by donation. Donations can be made in cash at crafting circle, or via e-transfer to mossyhollowhomestead@gmail.com.

We hope to see you there!
